3M Trizact™ 268XA Aluminum Oxide PSA Abrasive Disc

Equipped with a waterproof polyester backing and proprietary 3M™ microreplication technology, our 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA is specially designed for polishing and for finishing applications. We chose a polyester film backing for 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA, because it is water-resistant and can be run wet or dry. This disc is commonly used for damp sanding on a variety of substrates, including acrylic products, solid surface materials and glass. Using a lubricant like water helps the disc run cool and wash away debris that could warp or discolor the substrate. Depending on the project or application, 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA typically is used during the middle of a sequence to help bring the workpiece one step closer to the matte, semi-gloss or high-gloss finish desired. While it may be run damp, the disc requires little water for effective results.
